Giesen Adams Block Sauvignon Blanc 2005

(Marlborough, NZ) 

Beautiful nettle and nectarine on the nose, real depth and purity.  Which it also has in the mouth together with plenty of mouth watering tang and deep, stone fruity flavours.  The fruit lingers long and it's quite silky in the middle, before finishing with some mandarin bite. 

Shows that not all sauvignon blanc has to be consumed immediately.
