After 30 years of crafting New Zealand wine, Giesen brothers Theo, Alex and Marcel have at last opened their first cellar door. Situated in the heart of the Marlborough wine region, Giesen have created a welcoming cellar door that captures the spirit of Giesen Wines – making people feel at home enjoying wines they like to drink. Visitors can taste their way through Giesen’s range - all of which come from their 700 acres of established vineyards in the region. In addition to Giesen’s current releases. wine lovers also have the opportunity to taste back vintages which have been perfectly matured in Giesen’s Marlborough winery and, as a special treat, guests can expect to try some cellar door exclusive wines all served perfectly fresh thanks to the Enomatic wine dispensing system. Over the next few months the Giesen brothers have big plans for the space, which has been designed to feel as comfortable and inviting as their own homes. On the cards for 2012 are plans for lunchtime dining, private functions and events in the spacious and private courtyard.
