The 2007 Marlborough Chardonnay is sourced from two Giesen vineyards in the Wairau Valley.

Approximately 10% of the blend was fermented in oak barriques with the balance fermented in tanks. Both were left on yeast lees and stirred periodically to enhance the structure and flavour profile and completed 100% malo-lactic fermentation. After blending the wine was prepared with bottling with a casein fining and bottled in December 2007.

Remove the screwcap and allow to breath before serving. Partner with rice dishes, fresh fish and rich pasta dishes.
