General

All products sold on the Giesen Wines website are sold subject to these terms and conditions. The Customer should ensure that they have read them thoroughly prior to purchasing any products. "Customer" means you and all other persons who purchase the products under your Login. Online purchases are only available to New Zealand Residents 18 years or older. When purchasing products on this website the customer confirms and acknowledges that they are over 18 years of age and are legally entitled to purchase alcohol. The customer warrants that they can produce sufficient evidence (e.g. New Zealand Drivers License or Passport) of that entitlement on request prior to or upon delivery of the product.

Returns

Giesen wines offer a money back guarantee on everything we sell. If for any reason you are not entirely happy with your order, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will remedy the problem straight away.
If the product you buy from us is not to your complete satisfaction, we will replace your bottles or give you your money back. Please note we need you to report damaged goods within 24 hours of delivery.

Delivery

We provide a door to door delivery service throughout New Zealand. Delivery time’s nation-wide for Metro destinations will generally be within 3–5 days after payment has cleared. Rural deliveries may incur an additional day or two. Delivery will usually be during business days, Monday to Friday. Delivery charges are calculated on a 6 bottle carton or part there of. Delivery charges are calculated in the "Shopping Cart".

All wines are fully guaranteed against breakage or loss in transit. To make it possible for us to make valid claims on our couriers for courier damage you must contact us within 24 hours or for loss within ten (10) days.

Privacy

Giesen Wines is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. Personal information provided by you is used only for the purpose of fulfilling your orders and / or providing you with our product information.

The financial information we collect from you when we process your online credit card payment is collected on a secure server that uses the latest encryption technology. This information is strictly confidential, and the only people who have access to it are the people processing your payment.

Legal Age

Anyone purchasing from this web site absolutely warrants to Giesen Wines that they are 18 years of age or over.

Any breach or failure of such warranty resulting in action against Giesen Wines shall be fully indemnified by the customer.

Pricing

Giesen Wines reserves the right to alter prices at any time. All prices quoted are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD$) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax. (GST)

Damaged or Incorrect Merchandise

Upon your request, Giesen Wines will replace any merchandise that is received in damaged condition or as a result of picking error. No stock will be accepted or replacements issued without prior approval to return such merchandise. Giesen Wines will be responsible for filing of any claims.

We endeavour to meet advertised vintages, quantities and pricing, but all orders are subject to availability and confirmation by Giesen Wines. If any product ordered is unavailable or incorrectly priced we will contact you and advise you of the correct price or recommend a suitable substitute.

All goods remain the property of Giesen Wines until payment has been confirmed.
We reserve the right to limit any sale.
